Teen Louisiana United States
Ainsley Lollar
I am a 16 year old junior at Westminster Christian Academy who has had an interesting pageant experience. I got an email to do a preliminary pageant and thought, “Why not? It’s something new!” I walked into Head to Toe Boutique two weeks before the pageant in cut off jean shorts and a baseball cap. Mrs. Nicky looked at me and took me on as a new project. Little did she know she would be a miracle worker. I learned how to walk in heels in two weeks! I ended up winning Miss Teen Lafayette USA and going on to state. After gaining the title of Miss Teen Louisiana United States the next weekend, I thought for sure there was some mistake! Like I said, Nicky did not know she would be a miracle worker! I will never forget one thing a judge told me after signing the contract. He looked at me and said, “You’ll be the dream story.” I’m not sure if it will be true, but we will see!
I love playing sports and traveling. I also enjoy scrap booking, acting, and singing. My family and friends support me greatly and I am very thankful for them being by my side as my dreams are coming true! I am involved with my church youth group and I am also a cheerleader. My main goal this year is to be the best example I can be and have a blast at nationals. No matter what happens, this has been an amazing blessing and experience. I would not trade it for anything! My favorite quote is “desire is half of the victory” and I try to remember that with every task I encounter. I also try to remember, as long as I keep God first and have faith, whatever is best for me will happen. |
